You can now send GIFs to your Tinder matches

Tinder has recently rolled out a major update to its iOS users, giving them the ability to send GIFs to their matches via the dating app.

However, GIFs are only limited to the ones available on Giphy, which is a slight limitation but more legimate GIFs, maybe? The GIFs are position right next to the text input box, if you’re looking for it.

Another tweak to the dating app is the liberty for users to upload pictures from their phone. Before the update, Tinder singles are only allowed to upload photos which are available on their Facebook account, which is of course required to set up a Tinder account. But now, Tinderellas are free to upload photos out of the thousand selfies from their personal camera roll, eliminating the inconvenience to handpick photos from Facebook.

Tinder has also added another feature which enables users to like, or in other words, “heart” a message by hitting the heart icon in the conversation view. Other changes include larger emojis when sent without text and 3D touch support to peek on profiles.
