Rumours are circulating on the internet that Apple is planning to reveal a new iPad and a series of new Apple Watch models in an event that will be held in mid-March.
Based on the rumours, Apple will be revealing an iPad with a 9.7-inch screen called the “iPad Air 3”. This tablet is expected to launch alongside the 4-inch iPhone known as the “iPhone 5se”. Other speculations befind the “iPad Air 3” includes a rear-facing LED flash for improved photos in low-light situations, as well as additional speaker grills to match the audio quality of the iPad Pro. Sources have also stated that Apple has been testing versions of the 9.7 inch iPad panel that are compatible with the Apple Pencil.
As for the Apple Watches, the rumours say that multiple new colours are coming for the Sport Bands, Hermes bands, as well as a black version of the Milanese Loop. An additional band line made out of new material is also in the works. Complementing the hardware launches, Apple is also expected to issue software updates on the devices. These updates include iOS 9.3 with Night Shift for the “iPhone 5se” and “iPad Air 3” plus WatchOS 2.2 with the new Maps app for the new Apple Watch models.
