Local telco U Mobile just doesn’t stop moving forward, shortly after announcing the nation’s most reasonably priced postpaid plans and Power Prepaid product, the company has announced a welcome upgrade to its top tier P70 postpaid plan, which now offers unlimited free calls to every telco in Malaysia and even border calls to Singapore 02-prefix numbers and Brunei 080-prefix numbers are included in the perk according to the telco’s terms and conditions.
Starting this month, all users currently on U Mobile’s P70 plan will be automatically upgraded to the new ‘heroic’ plan, the new plan will continue to offer 7GB of whole day data, while SMS rates continue to be on a PAYU basis at 3 sen/SMS to U Mobile users and 8 sen/SMS to other operators, which makes a lot of sense. On top of that, U Mobile postpaid users are able to enjoy 50MB free data roaming in over 9 countries.
With this move, it makes U Mobile the most value for money telecom service in the nation, of course the downsides of the Orange company is still about coverage areas, however if you are out of U Mobile’s 3G/LTE coverage areas fret not as the company still uses Maxis’s coverage for 2G networks.
