Its here, the vivo X5Max that stole the world’s thinnest smartphone crown from the Oppo R5 has officially reached our shores,measuring at a mere 4.75mm, our local variant of the X5max measures 5.08mm, the x5Max is now available in authorized vivo resellers at a whooping price of RM1,799, despite being more expensive than its competitor, the X5Max comes with stuffs that the R5 doesn’t offer.
The vivo X5Max is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC mated to 2GB RAM, it has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLEDdisplay, 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB, a 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. In contrast to the Oppo R5, the vivo X5max’s MicroSD tray can be used as a secondary SIM slot and features a standard 3.5mm headphone jack despite of its slimness, however its battery is sadly a non-removable low 20002300mAh one and doesn’t sport a quick charge mechanism like its competitor.
Apart from that, vivo has also included its very own HiFi 2.0 audio and a dedicated headphone amplifier into the x5Max that will enable users to listen to high quality audio, which makes the X5max one of the best slim multimedia phones that you can buy in the market.
