This is a big surprise for a lot of people because the announcement of the partnership between Microsoft and Oculus was been revealed in June.
However, their many people will expecting to see day one support of the VR headset on Microsoft’s newest operating system. Fortunately, Oculus announced they not ready for this new Windows update and there’s another speculation that the company focused its attention on the retail version of the Rift HMD. Although, the retail version still half a year away, but it’s still confused about the developer kit wasn’t prepared for Windows 10’s launch.
Therefore, the official word from Oculus is that the DK2 does not yet support Windows 10 but the company’s software engineers are working with the speed of light, so they can get it up and running. Before the update is ready, Oculus strongly suggests sticking with your existing operating system and be patient for the new update to release.
