Apple has less than two months before the expected launch for the upcoming so-called ïPhone 6s” and “iPhone 6s Plus,” new photos of leaked components for the next-generation smartphones continue to surface. According to the images, the next iPhone will have minimal design changes compared to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The key part shared by French website Nowhereelse.fr is a claimed the iPhone 6s has a single flex cable that houses the volume rocker, mute switch, power button and LED flash. Other than that, it seems the device’s Lighting connector and headphone jack assembly, rear-facing camera rings and home button enclosure, which might be anodized with a gold or champagne gold.
Apple might return to using a single flex cable for the iPhone 6s but it’s not a surprise because Apple’s “ticktock” refresh cycle for iPhones and the company typically makes major changes in a “tick” year (iPhone 6) while focusing on smaller improvements and refinements in “tock” year (ïPhones 6s). Apple receives a lot of complaining on the rear-facing camera ring that makes users not able to lay their smartphone flat on a table because the camera lens stick out about one millimeter, therefore they make a slight changes on the camera ring.
This upcoming iPhone by Apple might be powered by an A9 chip with 2GB of RAM, Force Touch (which similar with Apple MacBook), a Qualcomm LTE modem, an improved 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, 7000 series aluminium and more. There isn’t any confirmation with the specifications, so changes might be made over time.
