Having a gaming GPU isn’t just all about having the fastest performance nor the most power saving hardware, NVIDIA has just showed off the power of its GeForce GTX 980Ti graphics card last week in Singapore on how it could make stunning graphics quality and particles in games while not compromising in performance, the company’s new GPU will be powering the new Batman Arkham Knight game.

During the event, partners, dealers and medias were reminded by the company’s successful GameWorks API that developers could use to create more immersive and stunning graphics in games. For instance, HairWorks renders every strand of human hair or animal fur rather than just a single texture, Hybrid Ray Traced Shadows renders and produces natural shadows caused by lighting and with the help of NVIDIA PCSS (percentage closer soft shadows), shadows on subjects and the terrain are smoother than ever. Last but not the least, the GeForce GTX 900 series cards are Windows 10 and DirectX 12 ready.

NVIDIA has also taken the opportunity to introduce its G-SYNC notebooks in its regional event, in which we have also checked it out back in COMPUTEX 2015, these laptops from Aorus by GIGABYTE, ASUS, Clevo, Aftershock and MSI are one of the first notebooks to come with a 75Hz refresh rate display that delivers a lag free gaming experience.
