Rumors of flagship devices have been circulating around as we welcome MWC towards the end of this month. But that doesn’t mean we won’t be hearing from lower end devices, namely tablets.
Although it has been harder to predict upcoming tablets since they aren’t under the spotlight, a recent render of what seems to be a low end Samsung tablet has been leaked. The model number of the alleged tablet is SM-T280. The name of this device could either be Galaxy Tab A 7.0 or Tab E 7.0.
Being a low end model, the tablet will most likely be budget friendly, support by the fact that it will be housed by a full plastic body and an unsurprising 1280×800 resolution display. The Galaxy Tab is tipped to sport a standard low end 5MP rear facing camera and 2MP front facing camera. Underneath the hood, the tablet is said to run on a Exynos 3475 processor, like the ones in last year’s Asia market-centric Galaxy On5 and On7 smartphones. Other than that, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage which is expandable and powered by a 4,000mAH processor.
While it definitely won’t steal the show at MWC, it’s good to know that Samsung still produces lower end budget devices for the consumer market. Let us know your thoughts below.
