A few months ago, we’ve mentioned that Google is currently working on the second generation Google Glass. The Google Glass Enterprise Edition was supposed to be available only for businesses. Well, not anymore as if you’re rich enough, you can get the prototype Google Glass right now on Ebay!
Currently sitting at USD 7,000 with roughly three days left to go on before bidding closes, the Google Glass’s auction is created by a representative for A to Z Pawnbrokers. Yes, you read that right. Assuming that the Google Glass that is on auction right now is an internal unit, it means that someone on Google has decided to pawn off a Google Glass that is currently in its prototype stages.
Google themselves have yet to respond to the auction so far, but even if they do, it’s hard to say if they would force the person who hosts the auction to take it down. Whatever the case, if you have some spare change to burn and you’re know someone in the U.S. that is willing to ship things back to Malaysia, why not make a bid for this Google Glass yourself.
