In a series of tweets posted by Jacob Rossi, an engineer on the Microsoft Edge team, Rossi revealed that Microsoft is currently working on a porting tool to run Chrome extensions in Edge. Rossi has said that this porting tool is not yet finished and some APIs are yet to be supported, which means that it’ll still take a while more before you can use your Chrome extensions on Edge.
Seeing as Microsoft’s Build developer conference will be happening next week and the Edge web summit a week after Build, it is possible that Microsoft would be revealing more about their plans to port Chrome extensions over to Edge.
