Back in 2012, YouTube launched a feature which allows creators to blur faces in their videos. But it seems like users want more than just blurring faces, hence YouTube has launched another feature, giving creators the liberty to blur out anything they want in their videos.

The video streaming site has rolled out a Custom Blurring Tool, currently available on desktop versions of YouTube. This brand new feature allows you to blur objects on your video, even if it’s a moving object. You can now bid a tiny goodbye to painstaking camera and motion tracking on your video editing software.

Choose the video that you want to edit and select Custom Blurring within the Blurring Effects tab of our Enhancements tool. Simply draw a box around whatever it is you want to blur.

The cool part is this feature analyzes your video motion on the fly, allowing the custom blurring tool to automatically blur a moving object. You can also set the duration of the blur and the size of the blur. Now, go on and experiment with it! Do you like this new YouTube feature? Let us know your thoughts!
