Isn’t that fast? It’s like only 4 months since we last heard of Sony’s latest XPERIA Z3 made available in our local shores, and the company is already on its way to announce its next big thing. Folks who are now rocking a XPERIA Z3 would probably turn haters now, because Sony is reported to announce its XPERIA Z4 on January 5 next year.
Reports from PhoneArena suggests that the XPERIA Z4 and XPERIA Z4 Ultra will sport a Snapdragon 805 SoC and 4GB of RAM. The XPERIA Z4 could get a larger 5.4-inch Quad HD display, an improved but same high res 20.7-megapixel camera and 4.7-megapixel front shooter for wide angle selfies and a 3420mAh battery. On the other hand, the XPERIA Z4 Ultra will have a 5.9” display, 16MP camera and an extremely thin 5.7mm form factor.
Expect a price drop really soon from Sony on the XPERIA Z3, while we still recommend that you can buy one as the new XPERIA Z4 won’t be due for your Christmas or new year present, we should probably expect to officially unveil the device on CES 2015 or MWC 2015 next year.
