The long wait has been over! Xiaomi’s newest flagship, the Mi 5, is set to be launched on the 24th of February, barely a month away from now.
This isn’t a rumor as it has been confirmed by the Chinese company’s international Vice President Hugo Barra on his official Twitter account.
Barra posted up an image with a big “5” in it, captioned “all you ever imagined, and more”. According to him, the Mi 5 will be Xiaomi’s first product for 2016.
This flagship is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 5.2 inch QHD screen, a 16MP rear camera and a 8 or 13MP front facing shooter, powered by a generous 3600mAh battery.
We have yet to know the dates for region-specific releases. But we’re sure that this device will be selling as hot as its predecessors. Super quick flash sales again? We’ll find out very soon.
