Mondays are always blues for us working people, but it sure is exciting and a prosperous day for the folks at Xiaomi Malaysia, the Chinese smartphone maker has launched its first ever ESC (Exclusive Service Center) in Low Yat Plaza under Micro 2000 Technologies.

What makes it different from other authorized service center in Malaysia is that the ESC will have a two hour repair time for Xiaomi products and you’ll get to see most of Xiaomi’s product line up here even if they are not officially available here.

Xiaomi’s ESC is located on the 4th floor of Low Yat Plaza, customers will be able to see devices such as the Mi Pad, Mi Routers and a collection of its best selling powerbanks in different colors. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to purchase them on the spot as this isn’t the Mi Home we’ve seen back in Beijing, but we think some one might just take those devices up and say “TAKE MY MONEY”.

Announced at the launch today was the Redmi Note 4G, the original Redmi Note has been a great hit in Malaysia as it was one of the cheapest phablet that you can buy, the Redmi Note now has LTE connectivity with the same aesthetics and hardware build except this time it is a single SIM device and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor with the same amount of RAM, internal storage, display and cameras.

The Redmi Note 4G will be available somewhere around December and will retail at RM589, an RM80 increase from the original Redmi Note which isn’t too bad for having LTE and omitting Dual SIM capabilities, Xiaomi Malaysia has confirmed that this will replace the current Redmi Note so if you still want a cheap and huge phablet with dual SIM capabilities, you know where to look for.
