Numerous China-based smartphone brands have made their presence known in Malaysia. Come next week, yet another smartphone brand will be entering the Malaysian market. The difference? This time, it’s a brand from Europe instead.

Wiko, a French smartphone company which is majority-owned by Chinese technology group Tinno Mobile, has announced that they will be officially launching their line of smartphones in Malaysia next Thursday. Based on the invite, the company has teased that it will be unveiling the slimmest and lightest 4G smartphone.

The company is currently keeping mum on what they will be launching next week, but Wiko Malaysia’s Facebook page has given us some idea as to what to expect from this company. Some of the Wiko phones that are available in Malaysia now include the FEVER, a glow-in-the-dark smartphone, the Highway Pure, a smartphone that comes embedded with 16 Swarovski Zirconia crystals, and the entry-level Lenny 2.
