If you are bored of hearing another new smartphone brand in the Malaysian market, then you shouldn’t be for this one. Wiko Mobile, an European smartphone brand has officially planted its roots in Malaysia and kicks off with three of its smartphones – the FEVER, LENNY 2 and Highway Pure, which all of them are very handsome looking devices with reasonable price tags.
The Wiko FEVER would be the company’s hero device for the Malaysian market, sporting a metal frame that glows in the dark that saves you from losing the phone, it has a MediaTek MT6753 1.3GHz octa core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 13-megapixel main and 5-megapixel front cameras, and a respectable 2900mAh battery. The FEVER also features a 5mm visual thickness and feels good when held on hand, and it will come preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Despite the company’s focus on the FEVER, the Highway Pure is the most attractive smartphone of all in the company’s initial offering, the phone features a super slim 5.1mm body and comes embedded with 16 Swarovski Zirconias on its hardware buttons, it has a modest specs sheet which includes a Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM, a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, and a 8-megapixel main and 5-megapixel front camera. While it might sound expensive with such a hardware offering, the phone will retail at RM999 and this is probably the most affordable phone with Swarovski crystals you can find.
Last but not the least, the LENNY 2 is the most affordable smartphone of all the other phones, this entry level device has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, a 5-inch FWVGA display and supports 4G LTE networks. Wiko Mobile will start selling all three smartphones in Malaysia through its authorized retail outlets starting today, the FEVER, Highway Pure and LENNY 2 retails at RM799, RM999, and RM299 respectively.
