As the most affordable plan among the three, the P28 plan offers 3GB of data and 50 minutes of free calls every month to all networks, which literally means for users who call a lot, you are getting an average 1.6 minutes of free calls daily. In addition, users are also getting free 100 on-net SMS and 200 off-net SMS, which isn’t offered back in the old P28 plan, summing all of these benefits it is definitely the cheapest data bundled postpaid plan in the country at this point of time.
For the data hungry user, U Mobile has upgraded its P70 data cap from 4.5GB to 7GB (that’s 2.5GB more!), and on top of that you are getting 70 minutes of free calls to all networks every month and after you’ve exhausted the minutes, you’ll still be able to enjoy 30 minutes of free calls to U Mobile numbers. Best of all, Pay-as-You-Use call rates are extremely affordable at RM0.10/min to all networks and you can even carry forward up to two times of your talk time to the following month should you have remaining minutes for the month, SMS rates are also extremely affordable at RM0.03/SMS on-net and RM0.08/SMS off-net, there is no free SMS bundled with both the higher commitment P50 and P70 plan.
After launching the nation’s most affordable iPhone 6 bundle plans and using rover trucks to gain more subscribers, this is one of the most aggressive move from the orange telco and I’m really tempted to switch to them, current users subscribed to U Mobile’s postpaid plan are automatically upgraded to the new benefits.
