MSI is well known for its gaming laptops and we’ve recently reviewed a crazy powerful one, the company is now ready to introduce an all new Prestige series laptops that is made for business elites and professionals, sporting a silky metallic exterior design and the white light backlit keyboard in the interior.
Despite being business looking, the MSI Prestige series is powered by a blazing fast 4th generation Intel Core i7-4720HQ and graphics is managed by NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX950/960M GPU. Available in 15.6-inches and 17.3 inches, the MSI Prestige’s display panel delivers close to 100% sRGB with MSI’s True Color Technology which will appeal to graphic designers and they will have no worries on color inaccuracy, a 4K resolution display is available for the 15-inch model.
In addition, the MSI Prestige notebooks will come with up to 256GB SSD M.2 SATA configuration with 1TB hard drive as standard, three USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0, 4-speakers + 1 woofer powered by Nahimic Audio, and a 6-cell battery.
Judging from the specs sheet alone, MSI has brought over the benefits of their mid-range Apache GE60 over to the new MSI Prestige notebooks with some extras, they aren’t the lightest machines at 2.3KG (15-inch) and 2.6KG (17-inch) and with that premium looking design and power, don’t expect them to come cheap.
