SanDisk USB Type-C Flash Drive released

Many mobile devices have been adopting USB Type-C ports lately. The new USB standard is predicted to be on many smartphones this year. Samsung, however, has held back on USB Type-C on its new flagship line – the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Contrastingly, LG went on to include the USB standard with the LG G5. Nevertheless, SanDisk has unveiled a USB Type-C flash drive to keep the competition in check.

SanDisk is expecting to see more USB Type-C supported devices this year. In order to provide a wider ecosystem of compatible products, the company has released the SanDisk Ultra USB Flash Drive. This flash drive comes in capacitites ranging from 16GB to 128GB, making it the highest capacity offering from SanDisk. It is also capable of read speeds up to 150MB/s, making it the fastest by the company as well.

According to the company, they have a steady increase in the new USB standard, which is dubbed as a game changer in the years to come and they will be expecting more products like theirs to be released to the consumer market. The SanDisk USB Type-C comes with a five year warranty and is available worldwide through Amazon.
