The wait for the Oculus Rift is almost over as the company has announced that you will be able to pre-order the Oculus Rift on Thursday.
Pre-orders for the VR headset will begin on Wednesday, 8am Pacific Standard Time (Thursday Midnight in Malaysian time). As of yet, no solid pricing for the Oculus Rift has been given, but you can expect it to be priced at around the USD 350 mark, which is what the development kit was priced at. Pre-ordering the Oculus Rift will grant you CCP’s EVE : Valkyrie and Playful’s Lucky’s Tale.
While the VR headset seems to be arriving on schedule, the controller that comes with it, the Oculus Touch, will be delayed further.
Oculus founder Palmer Luckey will also be doing an AMA on Reddit at Wednesday 6pm PST for those who have questions regarding Virtual Reality and general as well as the Oculus products.
