When Moto 360 was first launched, it was hailed as one of the first smartwatches that went circular in shape. Now that the 2nd Gen of Moto 360 is available in Malaysia, you can easily find a smartwatch that is customisable to suit any occasion. Today, Lenovo Malaysia launched four variants of the new Moto 360 – the Classic Moto 360 in three sizes, and the Moto 360 Sport Edition.
The Classic Moto 360 features a classic and timeless design inspired by the long heritage of watches. It has lugs specially tailored for men and women, with different styles of polished bezels. You can even swap between leather and metal bands in seconds thanks to its new quick-release bands. Since there are different variants in terms of sizes, you can opt for a 42mm unisex variant in black, a 48mm men’s variant in silver, or a slimmer 42mm women’s variant in rose gold.
If you are a fitness buff, then the new Moto 360 Sport Edition would be the one for you. It features on-board GPS to track your speed, distance and pace of your run, and to top it off, with Motorola’s AnyLight hybrid display, you can get a clear view of the screen regardless of lighting conditions. This is the first of its kind where the LCD display combines a traditional backlit transmissive screen with a front lit reflective technology. On top of that, the Moto 360 of all variants features a built-in holistic and comprehensive health and wellness experience known as Moto Body. This new watch features accurate sensors located at the back of the watch to track your heart rate and calories burned. These information is then translated into feedback and tips to improve your fitness with the step counter and pedometer.
The Moto 360 is able to recognise gestures with the Ambient Mode, which keeps the display constantly on to keep track of your notifications. Featuring Android Wear which now supports Android and iOS systems, you can change watch faces and interact with your smartphone using compatible apps.

- 42mm Unisex’s in Black : RM 1,399
- 46mm Men’s in Silver : RM 1,599
- Moto 360 Sport in Black : RM 1,399
All four variants are now available at SenQ, Urban Republic and Thunder Match stores nationwide, as well online on Lazada Malaysia. For now, Moto Maker and other accessories are not available in Malaysia. This device will also not be available at Lenovo concept stores as the Moto and Vibe brands have different strategies and will not be marketed together for now.
