We’ve heard of a Microsoft wearable in the works a few months back and the company has probably accidentally leak this piece of information, albeit in a weird source – the Mac App Store, in which the company has published an app called Microsoft Band Sync which serves as a synchronization program with the smart wearable that Microsoft is announcing. According to The Verge, Microsoft has also published the device’s app in Google Play and the Windows Store, it’s called Microsoft Health.

Therefore, it’s obvious that Microsoft Band will be supported on Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices, this will be the first smart wearable ever to support all three major mobile operating systems. The Microsoft Band will have Cortana support on Windows Phone and it’ll also be able to receive notifications such as phone calls, text messages, tweets from Twitter, weather, and stocks information. It’s display resolution is reported to be 310 x 102 pixels.

Microsoft Band’s launch date shouldn’t be faraway, given that the company has so ‘publicly’ leak the images of it, which we believe it shouldn’t be an accidental issue as well. If you want to check out the app itself do head over to the source link down below to download the Microsoft Health app on to your smartphones.
