LG has revealed through its quarterly report that the company’s mobile division has made a loss in the fourth quarter of 2015. Thankfully, the loss was made up by LG’s other various divisions.

LG managed to push out 15.3 million smartphones to consumers worldwide, despite having made a $39 million (RM166.77 million) loss last quarter. In total, LG has sold approximately 600,000 units more than it did in 2014.

The company has acknowledged the fact that the mobile market will be more competitive than ever before, and has stated that it will launch two flagships this year, along with “a more cost-competitive value chain” to improve its profitability.

One of the flagships expected to be launched by LG is obviously the LG G5, which is tipped to be housed by an all-metal chassis, including a fingerprint sensor, a dual camera and a dual screen similar to the LG V10.
