We’re not even done with 9th-Gen processors yet, but Intel are not resting on their laurels as they announce a new line of 10th-Gen Intel Core Ice Lake mobile CPUs which during this year’s COMPUTEX expo.

Fans of Intel’s processors will be glad to know that these new chips will be made using the company’s 10nm process which is based on the Sunny Cove architecture. As usual, the processors will be available in Core i3, i5 and i7 variants and will have max boost frequencies of up to 4.1GHz.

They’ll come with Intel Iris Plus and Intel UHD graphics configurations and will support Thunderbolt 3. You can expect 9W, 15W and 28W parts that will ship with up to 4 cores. The chips will be made available for thin laptops as well as tablets first before they go to the big guns.

Intel claims that this generation’s performance is 18-percent faster than its predecessor, but according to The Verge, this comparison was made with the very outdated Skylake-based chips.

These new chips will be able to give impressive graphics performance as Intel says it doubles the capabilities of its 15W parts. In terms of connectivity support, you can look forward to Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6 support. The new Intel Core 10th-Gen processors will ship out some time this June.
