Content creators have long depended on gaming notebooks for mobility and performance, and that demand has led to a new category of notebooks, which Gigabyte has today unveiled its new Aero 15 and 17 notebooks here in COMPUTEX 2019.

The new Aero series notebooks are completely redesigned with a minimalist approach, while they still offer per-key RGB keyboards as part of the hardware package, they come in either black or white color options. Both Aero notebooks are powered by 9th Gen Intel Core processors and mated to either a GTX 16 series or RTX 20 series GPU, they also come with the fastest WiFi 6 AX standards and Bluetooth 5.0, while supporting up to 64GB DDR4 RAM.

At Gigabyte’s launch event, the Aero 15 caught my eye with its stunning 15-inch AMOLED 4K panel, never before has a notebook display impressed me this much with its color saturation and accuracy, all thanks to X-Rite Pantone color calibration, content creators can finally depend on the display to make the best of their creation as it covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Ports selection is pretty good too, you get three standard USB ports, a Thunderbolt 3, Gigabit Ethernet and a UHS-II SD card reader.

Both Aero 15 and 17 will support Microsoft Azure AI, which automatically tunes the systems over the cloud to ensure creators get better performance out of certain applications, as a benchmark, these notebooks can run Adobe Premiere Pro at least 20%-40% faster than competing notebooks. Also, they are both cooled well with 2 fans, 5 heatpipes and 11 air inlets/outlets, Gigabyte claims a low noise level of 40dB and temperatures under 36 degree Celsius under heavy workload.

Gigabyte’s Aero notebooks are well known for their exceptional battery life and this time is no different, as they offer up to 8.5 hours of usage on a single charge. The Aero 15 and 17 are expected to make their debut in the Malaysian market in June 2019.
