The SoC is manufactured using TSMC’s 16nm FinFET process. The device will be made from aerospace-grade aluminum and 2.5D curved diamond cut glass. The Mate 8 also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The camera on the smartphone features Sony’s latest IMX298 16MP sensor at the back and an 8MP shooter on the front. It also packs with a large 4000mAh battery, the handset will be available in 3GB/32GB at USD 480(approx. RM2,050), 4GB/64GB at USD 590 (approx. RM2,550), and 4GB/128GB at USD 700 (approx.
