While we have to say HTC and Microsoft are still great buddies, the duo have been slacking a lot after the announcing the Windows Phone 8X and 8S then shortly after the One M8 with Windows Phone, Windows Central has reported that HTC and Microsoft are recently working together again on a Windows 10 phone, which we could assume to be an HTC One M9 Windows Phone model but we really hope HTC starts considering making affordable Windows 10 phones just like how Microsoft did with their Lumias.

We’ll see how the new version of the Windows operating system shapes up and where it fits in the HTC lineup – Chia Lin Chang, President of Global Sales and Chief Financial Officer at HTC

Chang has also mentioned that the company will be revealing more details on the next HTC powered Windows 10 handset at the end of Q2, which will be a great timing as Redmond will be officially launching its new operating system by then. Now the question is, how well is HTC going to integrate its new Windows 10 phone with its ecosystem such as the Re Vive VR Headset and Re Grip Fitness Tracker? Will they make cheaper phones for us as well just to compete with the Redmond’s smartphone department? Only time will tell.
