The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderland. What do all these titles have in common? No, not all are shows on TV and not all are from comics, however, all the titles are made into video games. Game of Thrones is no exception (not to be confused with the 2012 video game of the same name).
Also based on the A Song of Ice and Fire books and the series airing on HBO, this episodic graphic adventure game is set to be released in Q4 of 2014 (which is anytime now). The gameplay is point-and-click and is slated to be released as six episodes where the premise takes place concurrently with the television series starting from the end of the third season to the start of the fifth season. However, the video game will focus on a family not yet introduced in the TV series but is found in the books – House Forrester.
The game will be playable on Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 3/4 and the Xbox 360/One and the game would be downloadable as well. Watch the trailer below for a little more insight into the game.
