You know how online multiplayer on the PlayStation 4 requires a mandatory PlayStation Plus subscription? Well, for this weekend, and this weekend only, Sony is feeling generous and has decided to give everyone free access to online multiplayer.
This offer is seemingly tied with the release of the Battle Of Jakku DLC for Star Wars : Battlefront. That said, access to online multiplayer isn’t limited to Battlefront, it will be available to any game in the PlayStation 4 library, assuming that you’ve already owned the game.
Sony will be giving access to the online multiplayer beginning on Friday, December 11th at 12:01 AM Pacific time through Sunday, December 13th at 11:59 Pacific time. Converted to Malaysia time, access will be available starting on 4:01 PM on Friday until 3:59 PM on Monday. Once the period ends, online multiplayer will be locked and a PlayStation Plus subscription is need to access it again.
