EXMobile has hit the ground running for 2016 as the company announced the VoLte 2 smartphone and the EX Watch smartwatch during the first week of the New Year.
The company’s latest offering is the VoLte 2 smartphone, the newest edition ot the EXMobile’s line of VoLte smartphones. This smartphone sports a 5 inch Super Colour TCL IPS screen. The phone is covered in 2.5D curved glass with nano coating on both the front and back panel, giving it an elegant exterior design with a premium finishing. Powering the VoLte 2 is the Mediatek 6735A quad core processor, a Mali T720GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.
Imaging on the phone is handled by the 13MP F/2.2 aperature rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. A Yamaha Hi-Fi YDA165 Sound System ACC Sound Effect DTS Dolby sound chip was also integrated into the device. The VoLte 2 comes with a 2,200mAh battery that boasts a standby time of 90 hours and a talk time of 7 hours. The VoLte 2 retails for RM 549 and is available now.
Besides the VoLte 2, EXMobile has also taken the opportunity to announced the EX Watch, the company’s own smartwatch. This smartwatch offers a 1.22 inch 240×240 pixel HD IPS round display. The display uses a Nanometer tempered glass screen created via a full bonding process. Running on the MT2502A–108MHz SoC, the EX Watch is paired with 128MB of RAM and 32MB of storage which can be expanded up to 8GB using microSD cards. Features of the EX Watch include a pedometer, a heart rate monitor and a sleep monitor. The EX Watch’s watchband is available in stainless steel and leather strap variants. Prices for the EX Watch begins at RM 399 for the leather strap version and will be available during the first quarter of 2016.
