Lenovo has announced a new line of affordable Android tablets, the TAB3 series. Hinted from its name, the TAB3 is a lineup of three tablets with screens sizes of 7 inches, 8 inches and 10 inches respectively.

The Lenovo TAB3 7 and TAB3 8 are family centric. According to the company, the two models are engineered for the family. Both the TAB3 7 and 8 are similarly spec-ed. Featuring a quad core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via micro SD with a lowly 5MP and 2MP rear and front facing camera. Both these tablets have a kids mode preloaded, with safe web browsing features and an option for parents to restrict tablet usage times. Another feature is the IP52 rating which makes the tablets resistant against spills. Bothe the TAB3 7 and 8 come with WiFi and LTE variants.

The 10 inch model of the TAB3 is aimed at business, hence its also known as the TAB3 10 Business. The TAB3 10 has both hardware and software optimized for business use, according to Lenovo. Packed in the tablet is Android for Work, preloaded with Android for Work, Google Play for Work and a Kiosk Mode that turns the TAB3 10 into a interactive kiosk. Also, an IP52 rating and a Gorilla Glass 3 protected full HD IPS display. The TAB3 10 comes with 2GB of RAM, alongside an LTE variant and a 3GB RAM LTE variant at a higher price.
