Sony just isn’t having enough luck with its smartphone business and its XPERIA smartphones have always been stars in most of its self produced Hollywood movies, the recent James Bond series in particular has been Sony’s product placement film all this while but in a couple of months back, the XPERIA Z4 didn’t quite appeal to lead actor Daniel Craig, as he was quoted saying that the new XPERIA smartphone isn’t cool enough for James Bond to do his secret agent work. In a more recent trailer of the upcoming James Bond Spectre film, Sony has made a trailer for its new smartphone title “Made for Bond”, and you had guessed it right, the XPERIA Z5 is finally 007’s preferred phone once again.
The trailer didn’t exactly feature Bond using the XPERIA Z5, but rather showing Bond’s sidekick Eve played by Naomie Harris on a mission to pick up Bond’s phone – the XPERIA Z5, while the Sony RX100 Mark IV has also made appearance in the trailer as well. At the end of the clip, Eve tells Bond on the phone not to pick up things himself next time, which makes me think if Sony is trying to hint Bond to be not so picky over his choice of devices. Well, at least Sony has managed to keep its game up with the XPERIA Z5 and lets hope Bond doesn’t destroy the phone in its upcoming movie.
