While the smartphone heat here is all about the iPhone 6 and Samsung GALAXY Note 4, Motorola has brought in the all newMoto G 2014 Edition into the Malaysian market to crash the flagship phone market. Alright, the Moto G is no flagship but it is still one of the most impressive mid-range Android smartphones that you can buy.
The Moto G 2014 Edition now comes with a larger Gorilla Glass coated 5-inch IPS display with 720p resolution, 8 Megapixel main camera and a 2 Megapixel front facing camera. Processing power is the same as its predecessor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage with MicroSD expansion. The phone is also Dual SIM capable and will support DC-HSPA+ connection speeds, Motorola also promises an all day battery life with the 2070mAh battery and guaranteed Android OS updates as usual.
The Moto G 2014 Edition retails at RM688 and is available now at all Motorola authorized resellers nationwide, the phone also comes shipped with the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat. Since this is a Motorola phone, expect to get the Android Lollipop update in the coming month.
