Today, Canon has announced a new addition to its IXUX compact camera family, the IXUS 275 is a 20.2-megapixel point and shoot that that comes with 12x optical zoom and Full HD (1920×1080) video recording at 30 fps. The IXUS 275 will be available for purchase at the end of April and pricing has not been revealed by Canon Malaysia.

The IXUS 275 is powered by Canon’s DIGIC 4+ imaging processor, its sensor has a focal length of 25-300mm and an aperture range of f/3.6-f/7.0, ISO range is also pretty decent from ISO80-3200. The compact camera has a 3-inch LCD display and comes with WiFi/NFC connectivity for sharing photos to supported smart devices easily, users will also be able to use Canon’s smartphone app to remotely control the camera’s shutter and take pictures, its weighs 147g which makes it a superb travelling companion.

Despite of its pricing not being revealed, one could simpy assume that this camera should be priced slightly below or above RM1000 for its features and the image quality produced by this camera should be pretty good in brightly lit conditions with that low ISO sensitivity and WiFi connectivity is such a necessity these days.
