Desktop PCs, they are still the best when it comes to real productivity and entertainment consumption, you can do all that DIY stuffs if you are the geeky type of person. ASUS Malaysia has announced the availability of their M32AD Series of desktop, which comes in a mini tower form factor and has pretty humble hardware specifications.
The M32AD comes in two variants, both are powered by an Intel Core i5-4460 3.4GHz CPU and comes with 4GB RAM as standard hardware, the MY001S variant will have a discrete GeForce GT 720M GPU and 1TB of hard drive where as the MY001D comes with Intel HD Graphics with 500GB of storage. In addition, you’ll be getting an 8 channel sound chip powered by MaxxAudio, a built-in DVD writer, 6-in-1 card reader, 2 x USB 3.0, 3 x USB 2.0 ports and Gigabit LAN. Unfortunately, the M32AD desktop doesn’t come with WiFi or Bluetooth built-in.

Do visit local retailers if you are thinking of buying a simple PC for your home or office, the M32AD-MY001S retails at RM2,099 with genuine Windows 8.1 and the M32AD-MY001D at RM1,599 with FreeDOS, ASUS does bundle a keyboard and mouse in the package so you should be contended enough.
