The rumored iPhone 5e, otherwise now known as the iPhone 5se, seems to be getting real now as pictured above, the 4-inch iPhone will be taking design cues off the newer iPhone 6s instead of using the current 5s’s all metal design. Previously, we reported that Apple’s new 4-inch iPhone would refreshed with an Apple A8 processor, 8-megapixel camera, Touch ID and NFC for Apple Pay, this leak is pretty much confirming to what we can expect from Apple’s new smaller iPhone. While the iPhone 5se as pictured above might be a prototype, we can assume that the front face of the phone seems to be taking off design cues from the iPod touch judging from the front camera placement, that home button however feels a little weird and Apple has longed removed the square label since the introduction of Touch ID on the iPhone 5s.
With pressure of many large screen Android smartphones, Apple have broken its rule of maintaining a smaller sized display smartphone and have gone up to a 5.5-inch display in the introduction of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, while many users were in fact complaining over the years that they do not need a bigger iPhone since mostly have cared about one handed usability, we’ll see more details soon enough as March is approaching and I really wonder how Apple is going to pull off in this round of iPhone sales.
