The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was a surprised announcement back in IFA 2014, nobody expected Samsung to bring a once conceptual product on to the stage alongside with its flagship Galaxy Note 4, the Note Edge recently went official in Malaysia at a whooping price tag of RM2,999 and in our first impressions, we find the phone’s Edge display to be pretty useful rather than a gimmick. In terms of hardware internals, the Note Edge comes with a Snapdragon 805 CPU onboard instead of Samsung’s own silicon, which technically means you will have support for Cat 6 4G LTE connection and a more superior gaming experience than the Exynos chip. Otherwise, the rest of the hardware aspects of the Galaxy Note Edge remains the same as its non-Edge brother, how do this two devices fare in our tests and is it worth shelling out an additional RM500 premium for the Galaxy Note Edge’s curved display for the sake of an improved multitasking experience?
