HTC has been emphasizing a lot on photography since the introduction of its HTC One X and till its recent introduction of its Ultrapixel and Duo camera, the Taiwanese seems to be ready to come out their next photography product and possibly an action camera called the Re Camera.
While the teaser video from HTC clearly shows us that you are able to use the product to record videos underwater, wear it on top of your head to record events happening around you, we can’t be certain on how the camera will work differently from other action camera makes. Rumors have also suggested that the Re Camera will have a tube shape instead of a squarish form factor and a 16MP sensor onboard.

HTC has even set up a site that you can visit here and sign up to get notified once it becomes available, the company is probably moving forward into the right direction on releasing a different product category since most manufacturers out there are already done with smartwatches, HTC will need to be different once again if the company wants to make itself relevant again in the mobile industry. Bring on the Re Camera already HTC, we can’t wait to see what you have on hand.
