Last Friday, NVIDIA Malaysia hosted its second gaming event called ‘Play the Future with GeForce GTX’ at The Coffee Club Subang Parade. This time, NVIDIA has focused on introducing the GeForce GTX 950 graphics card and G-SYNC enabled notebook in the event, which received a huge thumbs up from the local gaming community, the event oversaw an overwhelming response of 158 participants and the venue was already starting to get packed in the very beginning.
The event kicks off with Fred Chen, Community Manager for NVIDIA Taiwan, Australasia and Southeast Asia giving an update on GeForce Experience as the world’s largest gaming platform and NVIDIA’s commitment to keep gamers engaged in its platform, Fred also explains to fans on the evolving gaming era and how the GeForce GTX 950 is able to bring out the best MOBA gaming experience all thanks to NVIDIA’s rendering technology and G-SYNC tear-free technology, GeForce Share Experience was also being featured as it allows the gamer and his friend to collaborate in games remotely over GeForce Experience platform.
On the show floor, NVIDIA has three GeForce GTX powered PCs paired to three Acer gaming monitors, which includes the XB280HU, XB270HU and XB240HK, the first two being G-SYNC monitors while the latter a 144Hz high performance monitor, gamers are thrilled to experience an ultra-smooth gaming experience on games such as The Witcher III and DOTA 2. In addition, Corsair’s new gaming mechanical keyboards and mice are also used to take the gaming experience even further with its responsive input.
Gaming notebooks from Acer, Aftershock, Alienware, AORUS by Gigabyte, HP, MSI are also being displayed to let gamers experience the power of GeForce GTX 900M series GPU on a portable machine, which gives it an ultimate exposure for both the end user and the manufacturer as this is the only event that users will get to experience the most popular notebook models with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 900M.
A lucky draw session was of course in place to ramp up the excitement of the event, which includes a Plextor M6v SSD, a WD Black 6TB Hard Disk sponsored by WD Malaysia and an Acer XB240HK 144Hz Gaming Monitor, which was taken home by three extremely lucky winners and there’s just one more thing on NVIDIA, which is an online Facebook contest that allows users to win two units of the GeForce GTX 950 graphics card, users will only need to post pictures of the event that day up to NVIDIA Malaysia’s Facebook Page and hashtag #PlayTheFuture and #PlayTheFutureMalaysia to stand a chance to win one.
