If you are a fan of Razer’s Orochi notebook gaming mouse, good news folks! Razer has released a complete re-design of the Razer Orochi and not just Chroma-ing it.

Razer retained the name of the Orochi but the latest version sports some new upgrades. For one, new Razer Orochi features the latest in sensor and battery technology to give gamers pinpoint accuracy and more than double the playing time in wireless mode. It does sport Chroma lighting though, as well as dual mode connectivity and a new re-engineered shell with a metal top.

Since the new Razer Orochi utilises the latest Bluetooth Low Energy technology, the mouse has even greater battery life – more than double, with over 60 hours of continuous gaming use, or 7 months of normal use, from a single charge. This is especially good for wireless notebook use since it has a polling rate of 125Hz, which increases to a whopping 1,000 Hz when used in wired mode.

The new Razer Orochi is now available for pre-order at the RazerStore and will be available worldwide in October 2015, priced at US$69.99.
