Oppo launches the Oppo N3 with the most innovative electric swivel smartphone camera

The wait is finally over, Oppo has pulled the curtains off its long awaited flagship N series smartphone, the Oppo N3 is the company’s most innovative smartphone ever that now features more power and imaging capabilities under the hood. Oppo’s N series line ups has always been very camera oriented and the Oppo N3 still features the 206 degree swivel camera that is present on the previous N series, except that it is now a motorized module.

Powering the Oppo N3 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AA 2.3GHz Quad-Core processor, it has 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM and has a smaller screen size this time at 5.5-inch TFT display at Full HD resolution. The Oppo N3 will support TD-LTE and LTE networks so you can very much use the phone if you are travelling in China and it comes with a 3000mAh batter with the company’s VOOC rapid charging technology, Oppo has also featured a smaller VOOC mini charger that is more portable yet having the same fast charging technology.

The Oppo N3’s camera has been upgraded to a 16 Megapixel f/2.2 sensor with Schneider optics, the camera will be able to take pictures with great image quality that is comparable with DSLRs thanks to PI 2.0 plus image enhancing technology onboard the phone, which kicks in as soon as the user presses the camera shutter. The camera also features Oppo’s unique target-tracking focus shift function, which will constantly focus on moving subjects and ensure users capture clear, detailed images and videos while the object is moving.

With its electrical swivel camera, users will now be able to control the camera by simply swiping on the touch screen, which simply saves the hassle of turning the camera manually and it is extremely convenient for taking selfies. What’s more, you are taking front facing pictures with the phone’s main 16 Megapixel sensor unlike most other smartphones that has a low resolution secondary front facing camera.
