There were a lot of rumors on the web that NVIDIA will be launching their value series 900 graphics cards the GeForce GTX 950 on 17th August. Usually, the number of GTX x50 or GTX x50 Ti will be one of the best budgets to get a perfect graphic card for your build. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 will get the GM206 GPU (GM206-250-A1) with six SMM units that house 768 CUDA Cores, 48 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs.

This new upcoming new graphic card will feature 1150 to 1250 MHz range with 1350 up to 1450 MHz boost clock speeds which beneficial to most of the upcoming game. Besides that, the graphic card also will have at least 2 GB of GDDR5 graphics memory that run over a narrow 128-bit bus likely up to 7 Gbps and it feature a 90W TDP. Input include a Dual-Link DVI-D/DVI-I, HDMI 2.0 and a Display Port 1.2 connectors that most of the users will be using.

Comparing the GTX 950 with the previous predecessor that has a base clock of 1020 MHz and boost clock of 1085 which shows the improvement on the latest generation will signify. However, NVIDIA chooses to stick with 128-bit memory interface that surprise me. The thing that remain the same will be the awesome 6-pin power connector to power up the graphic card and this is one of the main reasons people purchase this graphic card.

We are looking forward to the official announcement on the new GeForce GTX 950 from NVIDIA and we are anxious to get hands on to test the potential of the graphic card.
