We all know that Microsoft wants to replace your tablet and laptop with the Surface Pro 3, however it seems that Microsoft is really to take on Google’s Chromecast and the Apple TV by offering its own Miracast enabled display dongle. Of course, since it’s a Miracast dongle, it will support a vast majority of wireless devices that supports the Miracast protocol.
It’s really nice of Microsoft to release some nice accessories for you to go with the Surface Pro 3 because consumers simply love official products, the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter should only be able to support up to Full HD resolution and it will only be useful for users who wants to make their TVs to have wireless display capabilities. The product will retail at $59.95 in the US, expect the product to be sold around RM180 in Malaysia should it becomes available.
