Next week marks the beginning of this year’s Mobile World Congress, and with it, we can expect many new smartphones to make their debut. As many will know by now, LG will be debuting the G5 at Barcelona, but it won’t be the only phones that will be present at the showfloor as the Korean company has just announced that two other smartphones will be on display as well.

LG will be debuting its new line of smartphones that offers customers a unique user experience by offering one exceptional feature at a price that rivals mid-range smartphones. These “specialist” smartphones will be known as the “X series” and the first two smartphones in its line, the X cam and X screen, will be available at MWC.

As the name implies, the X cam and the X screen will be focusing on the camera and the screen of their respective smartphones. For the X cam, the phone will come with dual cameras on the rear, delivering one of the most advanced camera experience in a mass-tier smartphone. LG will also incorporate the company’s seamless 3D Bending Glass, giving the smartphone an elegant curved finish on the front.

On the X screen, this smartphone is equipped with an “Always-on” Second Screen which was only present on LG’s V10 smartphone up till now. The Second Screen sits above the main 4.93 inch HD In-cell Touch display and makes multi-tasking a cinch on the X screen. Measuring at 1.76 inches, the Second Screen will allow users to access frequently used apps, answer calls without interrupting the current activity, or just play music.
