The demand for phablet seems to be increasing and Lenovo has also jump into the bandwagon with the announcement of the Lenovo PHAB Plus mobile device during their press conference at IFA 2015.

By combining the best of both worlds – the smartphone and the tablet, the Lenovo PHAB Plus supports Dual SIM and offers 4G LTW fast connectivity, built upon Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core chip and 2GB of RAM, the PHAB Plus offers smooth functionality and entertainment, especially with its 6.8-inch 326ppi Full HD display and Dolby Atmos sound experience.

Lenovo new phablet comes in two different sizes for those who want an even bigger screen. There is a 6.8-inch PHAB Plus series, and a 6.98-inch PHAB series. However, although both devices sports a large 4250mAh battery, the 6.98-inch phablet is an introductory model and only has 1GB of RAM and an octa-core Qualcomm processor.

The PHAB is 8.9mm thin, weighs 250g and comes in three protective back colours of Tuxedo Black, Polar White, Aqua Blue and Cherry Red. The PHAB Plus however, has a more premium finishing with its polished, round-edged unibody design made from aluminium and is available in three colours of Gunmetal Grey, Titanium Silver and Champagne Gold.

The Lenovo PHAB Plus and PHAB will be available from Lenovo in September starting at $299 and $179, respectively. Products will also be available in selected countries including China, India, Hong Kong, Mexico and parts of Eastern Europe, however it is not available in North America.
