KENXINDA has decided to close up 2015 in style as the company introduced the latest smartphone in the company’s series of rugged Flattop series.

The KENXINDA Flattop W9 is a highly rugged smartphone which has an IP68 rating, making the smartphone “dust tight” and protected against complete, continuous submersion in water, effectively making the phone both dustproof and waterproof.

Shock is another thing that the KENXINDA Flattop W9 is good at as the smartphone comes with MIL-STD-8106 military standard shockproof cover.

For the components of the Flattop W9, it comes with a 4,000mAh battery, allowing it to last longer than many other smartphones. It sports a 6” HD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB thanks to the microSD card slot on the smartphone.

The Flattop W9 comes with an 8MP autofocus camera with a LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. It has dual SIM capabilities that support 4G LTE connectivity and includes features such as a FM radio, an accelerometer and a G-Sensor.

While the Flattop W9 is the main attraction of the launch, KENXINDA has also taken the opportunity to introduce various other phone models to Malaysia, all of which features the rugged shell that defines a KENXINDA product. The model most worthy of mention is the W3, being a throwback to the candybar phone of yesteryear.

Smartphones aren’t the only thing that was revealed during the launch as KENXINDA has also taken the opportunity to reveal the W3 smartwatch. The W3 features a 1.44”, 128×128 pixel rectangular touchscreen that supports Quad band GSM network. It is powered by 32MB of RAM, 32MB of expandable storage, and a 300mAh battery.
