Besides the Mate 8, Huawei has also given us a sneak peak at two new products at smartphone’s launch.
First off, the MediaPad. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 is a premium tablet focused on sharing audios and videos for the enjoyment of families. It comes with four speakers and four power amplifiers which are configured on the advice of professional tuners from Harman Kardon. As such, the MediaPad offers the highest sound quality compared to other tablets in the market.
The MediaPad also comes with its own cutting-edge stylus, the M-Pen. The MediaPad M2 10.0 is also the world’s first Android tablet that supports press fingerprint identification and is capable of storing up to five fingerprints.
The other product that was showcased during the launch is the new Huawei Watch variants. The Huawei Watch Jewel and the Huawei Watch Elegant are two new variants in the company’s Huawei Watch line of smart watches. This time, both the Jewel and the Elegant are specifically designed to cater towards the ladies. Both smartwatches are constructed using rose gold-plated cases and features premier leather thin wristbands and a sleek, curvy design showcased underneath a round, Sapphire crystal watch face. Measuring at 44mm in diameter, which is 2mm longer than the original Huawei Watch, the Elegant variant sports a rose-gold plated body, while the Jewel variant comes with a rose-gold casing with a 68 Swarovski Zirconia embedded into it.
The MediaPad M2 10.0 is priced as follows:
- Silver 2GB + 16GB, WiFi – RM1,299
- Silver 2GB + 16GB, LTE with M-Pen – RM1,599
- Gold 3GB + 64GB, WiFi with M-Pen and Case – RM1,699
- Gold 3GB + 64GB, LTE with M-Pen and Case – RM1,999
As for the new Huawei Watches, the Elegant is priced at RM1,999, while the Jewel is priced at RMRM2,299.
These devices will be available at the end of April 2016.
