Huawei may have just started preorders for the Mate 9 today, however the higher end Mate 9 Pro and Porsche Design has been confirmed to reach Malaysian shores next month, so for those of you who can wait, we would definitely suggest holding off your purchase for this. As reported by our friends at MDroid, a Huawei dealer has apparently snapped a picture of a pricing slide in an event where it mentions the pricing and availability of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Porsche Design edition.
The Mate 9 Pro features a slightly different set of hardware, which comprises of a Samsung inspired 5.5-inch display with curved edges, it also has a higher display resolution at 2560×1440. In addition, it comes in two RAM and storage configurations of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capicity, and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity. On the other hand, the Porsche Design Mate 9 Pro comes with an even higher storage capacity of 256GB, all Mate 9 Pro variants will support MicroSD expansion.

Mate 9 Pro (4GB RAM + 64GB ROM) = RM3,199
Mate 9 Pro (6GB RAM + 128GB ROM) = RM3,399
Mate 9 Porsche Design (6GB RAM + 256GB ROM) = RM6,999
