It seems like HTC isn’t just sitting there and wait for its competitors to catch up, the company has teased an event happening tomorrow that will probably lead to the announcement of the rumored HTC One M8 EYE and Desire EYE, which both phones will have upgraded camera hardware.
Meanwhile in leaks, the HTC One M8 EYE is expected to pack a 13 Megapixel main shooter, which very much shows that HTC could be ditching the 4 Ultrapixel camera found on the current One M8, however we hope that technology will still be present on the One M8 EYE’s camera with a higher resolution, the secondary camera that captures depth of field will apparently be still present on the One M8 EYE.
The Desire EYE is a more interesting phone to look forward to, being a mid-range smartphone it packs some flagship hardware onboard such as a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 2400mAh battery while packing two whooping 13 Megapixel main and front cameras.
HTC’s event will take place on October 8 and we shall be seeing the company showing off its product’s imaging capabilities, we might be also seeing some light or the real HTC Re Camera that we’ve talked about last week. Focus on the date people, not the phone!
