The One M9 may not be HTC’s most successful model last year, but most of us can’t deny that the One M7 is one device that has influenced many smartphone design of today, and HTC is said to be giving its most successful flagship refreshed hardware this year. According to Taiwanese site ePrice, HTC is set to refresh the One M7 at a price of NTD6000 (RM768.33) and we can probably expect HTC to pack the One M7 with a new Snapdragon 600 series chip and 2GB of RAM, and lets hope HTC will not be using the Ultrapixel camera as the phone’s main shooter when it gets released.

A few months back, HTC has ceased OS updates to the One M7 due to the phone’s aging hardware and it has already exceeded the two-year support timeframe, this announcement is a very similar move to Apple’s rumors of releasing a 4-inch iPhone 5e that we reported last week. As of now, the HTC One M7 is still a very decent performer and receiving tremendous community support on XDA-Developers, the news of a refreshed One M7 will be a great news to HTC fans out there. With MWC 2016 coming up next month, we are going to expect some exciting announcements from the Taiwanese phone maker soon enough.
